In July 2026 the Old Nalandians’ Association of Australia launched the Nalanda Rugby Development Fund, an appeal to every Nalandian and well-wisher to come together and support the future of Nalanda Rugby. 🏉
Why We Launched the Fund
Over the past season Nalanda Rugby made remarkable progress, and the goal was set: elevate Nalanda Rugby to Division 1 within the next two years. Reaching that milestone takes the continued dedication of players, coaches, and supporters, and it takes resources. The fund was created so the wider Nalanda family, here in Australia, could play its part.
What the Fund Supports
Every contribution, no matter the size, goes towards better training opportunities, equipment, player development, and the resources needed to build a stronger future for the rugby program.

The launch coincided with the Nalanda Centennial Rugby Fiesta, powered by the Old Nalandians’ Association of Australia Inc alongside the Old Nalandians’ Sports Club, as part of Nalanda’s 100-year celebrations. Thank you to everyone who has already given and helped the fund get off the ground.
